Pinterest = New Friends and Old

Who woulda thunk it?  An addiction to Pinterest has brought me three delightful new friends.  One loves to tease me about my new found love of the color orange (a color she's pretty sure she doesn't like, but then, every once in a while I manage to get her on board ;).  Another is going to give me a big head if she doesn't stop telling me I'm wonderful (see, I'm telling the whole world I'm wonderful - must have a big head!).  The third has shared her heart with me.  On top of that, I've gotten to know an old friend better, too!  Kindred souls, all of them.

So, although most people wouldn't think that Pinterest was about making friends, I've found that to be the most delightful aspect of all.  Be brave - make comments and send messages - you might find a new friend waiting around the corner, or an old friend waiting to be a better friend.

  1. Thank-you for writing what I was thinking...as odd as it may sound, I wondered if you would wonder about where I'd disappeared to when I avoided (yes...avoided as I knew where my time would disappear to, and it wasn't an option for a bit!) pinterest. Our banter and observations back and forth are highlights of my day as design is an old interest of mine, now renewed and I'm glad to be sharing it with you! You have beautiful taste (no...I'm not the one who gives her a big head!), and I really enjoy seeing what treasures you've found. Thanks new friend!

  2. I thoroughly enjoyed our convos last night. Thank you for your comments here, too. I, too, love design and absolutely love your taste. I hope and pray that your fireplace will turn out to be everything that you want it to be. I do miss you when I don't "see" you for awhile, but admire your discipline. I have an iPhone, so I just go on for bits throughout the day when I'm watching TV or waiting on something, etc.

  3. I can't imagine you could ever get a big head! You strike me as a woman whose humility rivals her talent!
